People say travelling is a great way to grow and to learn and to discover oneself. I am not sure about all these, but I enjoy it for the different experiences we go through while travelling. The sights and sounds, that are different from our daily lives attract me towards the yet to be seen. And I get bored if I do not get to experience it in regular intervals. In that sense, it is my drug of choice to remain calm in my mundane life. My oxygen before I dive again as a 9 to 5 cubicle worker.
So…it was really a VERY long time since I had not gone out and it showed. So we planned for a break. This time, to a place I had long since dreamt of visiting but was not sure about the logistics. At the Himalayan foothills lies a place with lush green forests, beautiful green hills and tea estates and free flowing rivers at the same time.
If that is not enough for you, then let me tell you, the place is endowed with wild life such as Elephants, Leopards, Bison, the Indian one horned Rhinos and yes! Tigers!
From the pictures, can you tell me where this was? 🙂
